Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Nasreen Mohamedi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Mumbai in December 2015. In the The India Sale auction, the work without title sold for INR 1,875,000.00 (€ 26,072.84) - well above the upper estimate of INR 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nasreen Mohamedi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 437,500.00 (€ 396,681.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nasreen Mohamedi erzielte im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Mumbai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The India Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für INR 1.875.000,00 (€ 26.072,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von INR 700.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nasreen Mohamedi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.500,00 (€ 396.681,48).
