This work without title by Nasreen Mohamedi was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2020. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,601.64), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nasreen Mohamedi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 437,500.00 (€ 396,681.48).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasreen Mohamedi wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.601,64) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nasreen Mohamedi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.500,00 (€ 396.681,48).
