Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Christies held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Nasreen Mohamedi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 106,250.00 (€ 91,776.80), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nasreen Mohamedi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 437,500.00 (€ 396,681.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Christies die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasreen Mohamedi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 91.776,80) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasreen Mohamedi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.500,00 (€ 396.681,48).
