Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Figure) by Nasreen Mohamedi was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2020. It achieved a price of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,933.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nasreen Mohamedi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 437,500.00 (€ 396,681.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Figure) von Nasreen Mohamedi wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.933,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nasreen Mohamedi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.500,00 (€ 396.681,48).
