This work without title by Nasreen Mohamedi was worth INR 18,225,000.00 (€ 253,428.03) to a buyer in December 2015. This price was achieved in the auction The India Sale at Christies in Mumbai and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of INR 5,000,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Nasreen Mohamedi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in March 2020 with the realized price of USD 437,500.00 (€ 396,681.48).
