Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2019 Christies in London held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Nasreen Mohamedi. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,311.12). Admittedly, works by Nasreen Mohamedi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 437,500.00 (€ 396,681.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Nasreen Mohamedi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.311,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nasreen Mohamedi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.500,00 (€ 396.681,48).
