It achieved a price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,682.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Le Nang Hien; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Young Women Of Hanoi In A White Tunic (Ao Dai) sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,482.70).

Die Arbeit Bataille Naval (Naval Battle) von Le Nang Hien kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.682,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Le Nang Hien; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Young Women Of Hanoi In A White Tunic (Ao Dai) im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.482,70).
