Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Young Woman Holding A Fan by Le Nang Hien was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,976.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Nang Hien - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young Women Of Hanoi In A White Tunic (Ao Dai), which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,482.70).

Die Arbeit Young Woman Holding A Fan von Le Nang Hien wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.976,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Nang Hien mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Young Women Of Hanoi In A White Tunic (Ao Dai) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.482,70) versteigert wurde.
