Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work By The River by Le Nang Hien. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,980.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Nang Hien - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young Women Of Hanoi In A White Tunic (Ao Dai), which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,482.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit By The River von Le Nang Hien zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.980,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Nang Hien mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Young Women Of Hanoi In A White Tunic (Ao Dai) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.482,70) versteigert wurde.
