This artwork by Le Nang Hien achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Two Young Women With Spring Blossom sold for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,870.55) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Le Nang Hien; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Young Women Of Hanoi In A White Tunic (Ao Dai) sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,482.70).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Le Nang Hien erzielte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Two Young Women With Spring Blossom für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.870,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Le Nang Hien; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Young Women Of Hanoi In A White Tunic (Ao Dai) im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.482,70).
