Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nam Kwan could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work Une formation changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,483.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nam Kwan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work COMPOSITION CALLIGRAPHIQUE (2) in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 129,472.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nam Kwan konnte im März 2009 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art wechselte die Arbeit Une formation für USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.483,52) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nam Kwan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit COMPOSITION CALLIGRAPHIQUE (2) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 129.472,73).
