Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La porte historique by Nam Kwan was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2000. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,225.00 (€ 9,307.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nam Kwan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work COMPOSITION CALLIGRAPHIQUE (2) in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 129,472.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La porte historique von Nam Kwan kam im September 2000 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.225,00 (€ 9.307,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nam Kwan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit COMPOSITION CALLIGRAPHIQUE (2) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 129.472,73).
