Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Jaffa Harbor by Nahum Gutman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 110,500.00 (€ 85,176.91). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nahum Gutman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tiberias Landscape, which sold at auction in December 2018 for USD 250,000.00 (€ 218,226.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jaffa Harbor von Nahum Gutman kam im Dezember 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 110.500,00 (€ 85.176,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Nahum Gutman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tiberias Landscape beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für USD 250.000,00 (€ 218.226,26) versteigert wurde.
