Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Quiet Corner, Tiberias by Nahum Gutman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,533.57). Admittedly, works by Nahum Gutman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tiberias Landscape in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 218,226.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Quiet Corner, Tiberias von Nahum Gutman kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.533,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nahum Gutman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tiberias Landscape im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 218.226,26).
