Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Young Woman In The Orchard by Nahum Gutman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in December 2014. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 56,813.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nahum Gutman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tiberias Landscape, which sold at auction in December 2018 for USD 250,000.00 (€ 218,226.26).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 56.813,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden.
