A top price for N. Strekalovsky - as previously expected
The work Misr Airlines Cairo by N. Strekalovsky was sold in the Travel and Vintage Posters auction at Christies in London in November 2011. The price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,648.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Misr Airlines Cairo is the most expensive artwork by N. Strekalovsky that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Misr Airlines Cairo von N. Strekalovsky wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Travel and Vintage Posters bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.648,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Misr Airlines Cairo das teuerste Kunstwerk von N. Strekalovsky, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
