Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Misr Airlines, Cairo by N. Strekalovsky was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,630.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by N. Strekalovsky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Misr Airlines Cairo was auctioned for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,648.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Misr Airlines, Cairo von N. Strekalovsky kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.630,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von N. Strekalovsky konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit Misr Airlines Cairo für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.648,12) versteigert.
