A top price for Nicolaas Martinus Wijdoogen - as previously expected
In January 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Fishermen along a shoreline by a village by Nicolaas Martinus Wijdoogen. The price achieved of EUR 6,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fishermen along a shoreline by a village is the most expensive artwork by Nicolaas Martinus Wijdoogen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishermen along a shoreline by a village von Nicolaas Martinus Wijdoogen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
