Admittedly, works by Nicholas Freese have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A young officer of a light company, in red uniform with yellow facings, silver epaulettes, black stock and frilled white cravat, black shoulder belt with gilt belt plate, powdered hair; sky background in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 11,815.77).
