Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dancer 4 by Myat Kyawt was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 16,250.00 (€ 1,834.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Myat Kyawt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Abstract Dancer was auctioned for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,048.52).

Die Arbeit Dancer 4 von Myat Kyawt kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 16.250,00 (€ 1.834,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Myat Kyawt konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Abstract Dancer für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.048,52) versteigert.
