In October 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Kuwaitimother And Child by Munira Al-Kazi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,192.29), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Munira Al-Kazi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Moonlight Procession, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 69,300.00 (€ 82,101.78).

Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kuwaitimother And Child von Munira Al-Kazi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.192,29) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Munira Al-Kazi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Moonlight Procession beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 69.300,00 (€ 82.101,78) versteigert wurde.
