Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Nubian Girls by Munir Fahim was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,296.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Munir Fahim have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Nubian Girls in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 106,312.00 (€ 123,314.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Nubian Girls von Munir Fahim kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.296,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Munir Fahim auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Nubian Girls im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.312,00 (€ 123.314,30).
