Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nubian Sorceress by Munir Fahim was sold in the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in March 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,740.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Munir Fahim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Nubian Girls in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 106,312.00 (€ 123,314.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nubian Sorceress von Munir Fahim wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.740,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Munir Fahim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Nubian Girls im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.312,00 (€ 123.314,30).
