Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Flag Carriers by Munir Fahim was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,865.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Munir Fahim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Nubian Girls in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 106,312.00 (€ 123,314.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Flag Carriers von Munir Fahim wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.240,00 (€ 11.865,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Munir Fahim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Nubian Girls im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.312,00 (€ 123.314,30).
