Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Looking Glass; Reflection; Back Stage; By The Brook by Mukul Dey was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,917.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mukul Dey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Dancers; Musicians) in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,720.00 (€ 23,605.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Looking Glass; Reflection; Back Stage; By The Brook von Mukul Dey kam im Juni 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.917,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mukul Dey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Dancers; Musicians) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 23.605,55).
