Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Albert Einstein , sheet 19 x 15 cm. (7 1/2 x 6in) by Mukul Dey was auctioned at Bonhams in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,661.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mukul Dey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Dancers; Musicians) in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,720.00 (€ 23,605.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Albert Einstein , sheet 19 x 15 cm. (7 1/2 x 6in) von Mukul Dey kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.402,50 (€ 1.661,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mukul Dey erzielen.
