Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work The Neva by Mstislav Dobuzhinsky. The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,364.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mstislav Dobuzhinsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Boats On The Neva, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 92,500.00 (€ 115,574.32).
