Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Caucasian fortress by Mstislav Dobuzhinsky was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,921.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mstislav Dobuzhinsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boats On The Neva in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 115,574.32).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.921,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mstislav Dobuzhinsky erzielen.
