This artwork by Mstislav Dobuzhinsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2018. In the Russian Art auction, the work Stage design for 'Eugene Onegin': Ball at the Larins sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,952.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mstislav Dobuzhinsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boats On The Neva in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 92,500.00 (€ 115,574.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mstislav Dobuzhinsky erzielte im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Stage design for 'Eugene Onegin': Ball at the Larins für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.952,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mstislav Dobuzhinsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boats On The Neva im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 92.500,00 (€ 115.574,32).
