Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work The Artist and His Models by Moses Soyer for USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,771.38). This price was achieved in the auction American Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moses Soyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Costume Makers in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 40,625.00 (€ 31,600.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Artist and His Models von Moses Soyer für USD 1.920,00 (€ 1.771,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moses Soyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Costume Makers im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.625,00 (€ 31.600,03).
