The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,599.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Moses Soyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Costume Makers in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 40,625.00 (€ 31,600.03).
