This artwork by Morris Kantor achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2011. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work The day dream (illustrated); and Portrait of a reclining woman sold for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,880.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Morris Kantor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orchestra in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 516,500.00 (€ 456,151.20).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Morris Kantor erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit The day dream (illustrated); and Portrait of a reclining woman für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.880,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Morris Kantor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orchestra im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 516.500,00 (€ 456.151,20).
