This artwork by Moritz Michael Daffinger achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2009. In the Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes auction, the work Unknown sold for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,830.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moritz Michael Daffinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A highly important miniature of Countess Elisaveta Ksaver'evna Vorontsova (1792-1880), leaning on her left elbow resting on multi-coloured cashemere stoles, her hand raised to her face, in brown dress with lace underdress and lace sleeves, jewelled s in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 50,190.00
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A highly important miniature of Countess Elisaveta Ksaver'evna Vorontsova (1792-1880), leaning on her left elbow resting on multi-coloured cashemere stoles, her hand raised to her face, in brown dress with lace underdress and lace sleeves, jewelled s im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.190,00 (€ 71.087,56).
