Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1830 by Moritz Michael Daffinger was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,391.73). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moritz Michael Daffinger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A highly important miniature of Countess Elisaveta Ksaver'evna Vorontsova (1792-1880), leaning on her left elbow resting on multi-coloured cashemere stoles, her hand raised to her face, in brown dress with lace underdress and lace sleeves, jewelled s in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 50,190.00

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1830 von Moritz Michael Daffinger kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.391,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moritz Michael Daffinger erzielen.
