Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Montague Dawson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The action between H.M.S. Shannon and the U.S.S. Chesapeake,1st June 1813 in February 2006 with an auction result of USD 486,400.00 (€ 407,882.60).
