Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Idol by Mohammed Omar Khalil was auctioned at Christies in Paris in July 2020. The price achieved of EUR 6,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mohammed Omar Khalil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work East + West, New York in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 63,400.00 (€ 43,820.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Idol von Mohammed Omar Khalil kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammed Omar Khalil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit East + West, New York im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.400,00 (€ 43.820,85).
