It achieved a price of USD 11,340.00 (€ 10,222.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Admittedly, works by Mohammad Kibria have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Painting in Black, Gray and Green and Brown) in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 45,172.95).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mohammad Kibria kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 10.222,66) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammad Kibria auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Painting in Black, Gray and Green and Brown) im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 45.172,95).
