This work without title by Mohammad Kibria was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in New York in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,710.00 (€ 9,850.99), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Mohammad Kibria have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Painting in Black, Gray and Green and Brown) in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 45,172.95).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mohammad Kibria wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 9.850,99) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohammad Kibria auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Painting in Black, Gray and Green and Brown) im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 45.172,95).
