In November this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Cabinet of solid teak with plinth by Mogens Koch. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 7,500.00 (€ 1,005.91), 25% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Mogens Koch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pair of easy chairs and ottoman, from a private commission, Copenhagen in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,973.73).
Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cabinet of solid teak with plinth von Mogens Koch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 7.500,00 (€ 1.005,91) und damit 25% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mogens Koch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pair of easy chairs and ottoman, from a private commission, Copenhagen im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.973,73).
