This artwork by Mogens Ballin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May 2007. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work Arbres vus du dessus sold for EUR 2,880.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mogens Ballin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Paysage (recto; verso) sold at auction in October this year with the realized price of EUR 5,040.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mogens Ballin erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit Arbres vus du dessus für EUR 2.880,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mogens Ballin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Paysage (recto; verso) im Oktober diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.040,00.
