Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script by Mo Youzhi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 103,840.00 (€ 11,428.82). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mo Youzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hexagram Of Modesty In Seal Script Calligraphy in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,416,000.00 (€ 145,781.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script von Mo Youzhi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 103.840,00 (€ 11.428,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mo Youzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hexagram Of Modesty In Seal Script Calligraphy im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.416.000,00 (€ 145.781,32).
