Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Couplet In Seal Script by Mo Youzhi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,125.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 25,000.00 – 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mo Youzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hexagram Of Modesty In Seal Script Calligraphy in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,416,000.00 (€ 145,781.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Couplet In Seal Script von Mo Youzhi kam im Oktober 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 44.840,00 (€ 5.125,15) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 45.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mo Youzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hexagram Of Modesty In Seal Script Calligraphy im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.416.000,00 (€ 145.781,32).
