Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Appearance of a Dragon Overlapping with a Light by Miwa Komatsu was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 900,000.00 (€ 112,301.51). Admittedly, works by Miwa Komatsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 780,000.00 (€ 796,532.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Appearance of a Dragon Overlapping with a Light von Miwa Komatsu wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 900.000,00 (€ 112.301,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miwa Komatsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sounds Of Festival (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 780.000,00 (€ 796.532,61).
