In October 2019 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Chrysanthemum by Miao Guying. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,348.72), 48% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miao Guying achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chrysanthemums By The Hedge in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 69,342.41).

Im Oktober 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chrysanthemum von Miao Guying zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.348,72) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miao Guying erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chrysanthemums By The Hedge im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 69.342,41).
