FIRST EDITION OF HAK'S FIRST MONOGRAPH, SIGNED BY HAK, JIRI KOLAR AND LUBOMIR LINHART -- Kolar and Linhart wrote the two introductory pieces preceding Hak's photographs. Rare signed, and seldom encountered signed by all contributors.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ocima. Svet kolem nas -- Through the Eyes. The World Around Us. Prague: Cs.F.N., 1947. by Miroslav Hák was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,025.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miroslav Hák - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Street Scene With Laundry, 1930S, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 2,875.00 (€ 3,476.09).

Die Arbeit Ocima. Svet kolem nas -- Through the Eyes. The World Around Us. Prague: Cs.F.N., 1947. von Miroslav Hák kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.025,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Miroslav Hák mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Street Scene With Laundry, 1930S beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 2.875,00 (€ 3.476,09) versteigert wurde.
