The work Composizione per il monumento delle Fosse Ardeatine by Mirko Basaldella was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2003. It achieved a price of EUR 4,960.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24 %. Admittedly, works by Mirko Basaldella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allegoria della settimana (bangle), 1948-1950 in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,562.00 (€ 30,983.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composizione per il monumento delle Fosse Ardeatine von Mirko Basaldella kam im Mai 2003 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.960,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mirko Basaldella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allegoria della settimana (bangle), 1948-1950 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.562,00 (€ 30.983,78).
