The work Chimera by Mirko Basaldella was sold in the ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA auction at Christies in Milan in May 2003. It achieved a price of EUR 3,224.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29 %. Admittedly, works by Mirko Basaldella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Allegoria della settimana (bangle), 1948-1950 in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 27,562.00 (€ 30,983.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chimera von Mirko Basaldella wurde im Mai 2003 in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.224,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mirko Basaldella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Allegoria della settimana (bangle), 1948-1950 im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.562,00 (€ 30.983,78).
