Auction result well in line with expectations
The work weiss fickt schwarz by Miriam Cahn was auctioned at Phillips in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 76,200.00 (€ 87,498.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Miriam Cahn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work o.t., which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 2,286,000.00 (€ 276,448.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit weiss fickt schwarz von Miriam Cahn kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 76.200,00 (€ 87.498,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Miriam Cahn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit o.t. beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 2.286.000,00 (€ 276.448,52) versteigert wurde.
