Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain by Minjung Kim was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 44,800.00 (€ 52,139.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Minjung Kim - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vuoto nel Pieno, which sold at auction in November last year for USD 189,000.00 (€ 183,086.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountain von Minjung Kim kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 44.800,00 (€ 52.139,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Minjung Kim mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vuoto nel Pieno beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für USD 189.000,00 (€ 183.086,31) versteigert wurde.
