Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Ming Jian was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It changed hands for a price of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 9,642.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ming Jian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes Inspired by Poems, which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,073.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Ming Jian wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 9.642,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ming Jian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes Inspired by Poems beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 21.073,30) versteigert wurde.
